Good Morning All,

Well winter officially arrived in my neck of the woods last night when almost an inch of snow finally fell to the ground and put a very light layer over everything. It was pretty and all that but if I had my way that would be the only snowfall of the year and the weather would start warming up about…..NOW!

I'm not a grinch or anything like that I'm just not a big fan of the white stuff. It's beautiful and all that but it makes driving around a pain in the butt.

The good thing is that while this white powder was falling to the ground my wife and I started planning our camping trips for this season. We already have several booked due to cub scouts, boy scouts (my older son crosses over in February) and the now annual boys trip to Stokes State Forest.

We have also tentatively planned a family weekend trip once a month starting in May and going through September. Obviously this could and probably will change as it did last year due to other stuff like sports and other activities but hopefully we'll get out at least once every 6 weeks or so.
