Good Morning all,

Well back in May my family and I went to Turkey Swamp campground for our first family trip of the year. We took our old 1963 Shasta 13′ trailer and a tent for the boys.

We really liked this campground as the sites are nice and large, well shaded, every site is a pull-thru site and they allow pets so we were able to take our Black Lab Shamrock with us.

It is a county park (basically the same as State Parks) so there were very limited facilities and no activities. The restrooms were nice, clean and well maintained. I would most definitely go back here again with a group of friends as I think this would be a nice place to just let the kids play with their friends and let the adults hangout and chat.

It was overall a very uneventful and relaxing weekend which was very much needed at the end of a very hectic school, cub scout and work year. All the more so since I just ended a 7 week stint of flying to Las Vegas every Monday morning and flying home late Thursday night for work.

‘Till Next Time…Remember “There Ain’t No Better Camping Then New Jersey Camping!”

Eric
