Good Morning all,
I think I might have mentioned this in the past but just in case I didn’t…my wife and I are thinking of replacing our 1962 Shasta camper with a new camper.
We have been to an RV show and a local Dealership (Stone’s Camping World on RT. 73 in Berlin for any of you that know the area) and we just don’t know what to do.
I think I might actually start a new section of this site that discusses everything we learn while we investigate and decide what to buy. Maybe you all are experts in what to look for and what to buy when it comes to campers and RV’s but I’m not.
So far we have kind of decided on getting a hybrid camper. A hybrid is basically a hard shell camper that has beds that extend out from the front, back and/or sides for your beds kind of like a pop-up. We like those because the beds don’t take up any of the living space and we feel that it makes the camper that much bigger.
We actually found one we like at Stone’s which is about 23 feet long and has 3 queen size beds in it. Yes, I said 3 queen size beds in it. One comes out the front, one out the back and one out the side near the rear.
I just don’t know what to look for, look out for and avoid when purchasing something like this.
If you have any thoughts, suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them in the comments section.
